We wanted to try SUPERAntiSpyware for ourselves so we downloaded the free version on a computer that kept rebooting and was running slow. We had previous tried spyware doctor and a couple of ther programs.

We downloaded it from here (click here to visit their site) and installation was quick and easy. When open, I noticed the interface which was simple and not cluttered. It has minimal, easy to see choices available and where to go next. When we ran a scan which did not take as long as the other programs and it found multiple programs it identified as threats. Some were tracking cookies which were harmless but some were programs we had not seen before.

After eliminating the threats, the computer had stopped rebooting at random and was running a little quicker. We have since kept it on our computer and went to the pro version for ease of updates and real time protection. Since that time (2 months ago now) we have not had any other issues with rogue spyware, malware or adware.

On top, I wanted to test the machine with another program I love called Malwarebytes (see review here). I did find that Malwarebytes picked up 1 more program that SAS did not detect. While SUPERAntiSpyware is a fantastic program and I found it easy to use, I think in this day and age, no one program is going to give the protection that i needed with the level of threats out there.

My pick is therefore this:

I have found these 3 work well together in the fight to keep my computer clean and don't seem to interfere with each other which is rare to find programs that don't compete for resources
